Zoning...improving your quality of life!
The Commonwealth Zoning Board works to improve Saipan's economy and quality of life, as well as to conserve natural and historic resources. We do this by administering the Saipan Zoning Law in a way that is transparent and user-friendly, and is integrated with other CNMI regulatory, land management, and development agencies.
On September 18, 2018, the Zoning staff began a series of public outreach meetings to gather the public's comments on the 2018 proposed amendments to the Saipan Zoning Law of 2013. The Board and staff urge you to familiarize yourself with the changes to the Law and the official Zoning Map in the Publications tab, and further invite you to share your comments with us before May 30, 2019. You may deliver your comments to our office on the 2nd floor of Joeten Dandan Commercial Building, or email to Therese.Ogumoro@zoning.gov.mp.
We also invite you to view the proposed regulations on the All Terrain Vehicles (ATV), Utility Vehicles (UTV), and Motorcycles as published in the Commonwealth Register, and provide your comments within 30 days from the date of publication (on or before May 30, 2019).
Please also see the Notices and Events page for events and outreach calendar information for the public.
Thank You, Si Yuus Ma'ase, Ghilisow
